Community Outreach

Tom and Mary Shields founded their company with a fundamental commitment to bringing the best quality health care services into local communities where patients live, work, play and raise their families. 

It has always been our belief that healthy communities are made with more than medical care.  So, Shields Health Care Group supports a wide array of philanthropic causes and also the organizations that directly deliver community services.
Shields partnerships extend beyond medical services, however, to include the support of causes and organizations that provide community based programs and services.  Our long-standing support of the Boys & Girls Club of Brockton, and of the fundraising efforts conducted by our professional sports partners – Boston Celtics and New England Patriots – are just two examples of the many ways we reach out to those in need.
