Patricia Whelan Patricia Whelan is the Chief Information Officer of Shields Health Care Group and Senior Partner of Shields Consulting. She is the former Chief Technology Officer of Radiology Consulting Group and Director of Radiology Informatics at Massachusetts General Hospital. Ms. Whelan is widely published in the areas of PACS implementation, data storage, and the management of the film to digital transition. She has become a leading opinion in the PACS industry today and has given numerous lectures at some of the nation's most notable conferences, including Radiology Society of North America, Health Information Management Systems Society, Society for Computer Applications in Radiology, Harvard Medical School's Radiology into the 21st Century and many others. Ms. Whelan holds 2 bachelors degrees from the University of Virginia and a master's degree from Ohio State University. |
