Carmel Shields is Executive Vice President of Shields Health Care Group focusing on business development in MRI and Oncology services having previously served as Chief Operating Officer for the MRI Network. Prior to joining Shields Health Care Group, Ms. Shields was a Fiscal Analyst for the House Committee on Ways and Means, Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Carmel holds a BA from Boston College, a JD from New England School of Law, and an MBA from Northeastern University. She currently serves as a member of various not for profits organizations including Park School, Stonehill College , CRUDEM Hospital (Milot, Haiti), Epiphany Middle School, Nativity Prep – Boston, The National Braille Press, and House of Possibilities, a respite home for special needs children. Carmel has also been an active member of the following organizations: Massachusetts Education Management Accountability Board, Chair- Brockton Area Workforce Development Board, Governor's Economic Council, Brockton Visiting Nurses Association, and the Fuller Museum of Art.
