MRI
There are very few restrictions to MRI exams, but under some circumstances they are not appropriate. People who have metal inside their bodies, due to joint replacement surgery, for example, should not have an MRI exam. Some MRI exams require patients to have a contrast dye injection. Patients who may be diabetic or who have a known allergy to contrast dye should inform our technologist in advance on the exam. Please review the list below carefully to ensure your safety and comfort before receiving an MRI exam. IMPORTANT. Please read carefully. A FEW PEOPLE CANNOT RECEIVE AN MRI OR NEED SPECIAL ARRANGEMENTS. Any of the following objects or conditions may interfere with your MRI. Please call the Center immediately and tell us if you: |
