Tuition Reimbursement Program
We value the professional growth of our employees and offer a generous reimbursement program to support development. With approval, our program provides reimbursement up to 5,000.00 per calendar year for graduate, undergraduate, adult education and advanced certification courses related to one's career path.
Life Insurance
Employees are provided with basic life insurance coverage 1x their annual salary up to 50,000.00. Supplemental coverage for employees, spouses and children is also available at competitive rates.
Short Term & Long Term Disability Insurance
Our disability plans provides salary replacement coverage when you are unable to work due to illness or injury.
Supplemental Short Term Disability & Critical Illness Insurance
Employees can enroll for further protection through an employee paid insurance buy-up plan.
Retirement Savings Account – 401(k) provided by Prudential Retirement
This plan gives you the opportunity to save for your retirement, tax-deferred. You may contribute up to the IRS savings limit each year (and, if you are age 50 or older, make additional catch-up contributions).
Paid Time Off
Our paid time off program combines vacation and sick time into one paid time-off account. To start, regular full-time employees accrue 152 hours annually in their 1st and 2nd year of employment and that amount continues to increase with additional years of service.
Holidays
Shields Health Care Group pays 100% for 8 scheduled holidays per year.
