A Board Certified Radiation Oncologist, Dr. Bornstein earned his bachelors degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and his Medical Degree from Tufts University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at the Harvard Joint Center for Radiation Therapy (JCRT), which consists of Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and The Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Bornstein stayed in practice and on the faculty of JCRT for 10 years after his residency, was the Director of the Hyperthermia program at Dana Farber Cancer Institute, and recipient of multiple research grants. Just prior to joining South Suburban Oncology Center in April 2004, he was a faculty member at Tufts Medical Center.
Dr. Bornstein's credentials include an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a Fellowship in the American College of Radiation Oncology. Dr. Bornstein is on staff at South Shore Hospital, Quincy Medical Center, Morton Hospital, Sturdy Memorial Hospital, and Caritas Carney Hospital and is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Radiation Oncology at Harvard Medical School. |

Board Certified Radiation Oncologist, Dr. Kim earned her bachelors degree in biology and received her Medical Degree from Chung-Ang University in Seoul, South Korea. She completed her residency in Radiation Oncology at the University of Chicago Medical Center, Chicago and at the University of Michigan Medical Center, Ann Arbor, Michigan. She continued her training as a fellow at the Harvard Joint Center for Radiation Therapy in Boston.
Following her training, Dr. Kim practiced radiation oncology as a faculty of Harvard Joint Center for Radiation Therapy. Dr. Kim then joined the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. She was a member of Breast Care Clinic and Prostate Cancer Clinic at BIDMC and has an extensive experience in Prostate Cancer Management, including Seed Implant. She has published several influential papers in brain tumor, rectal and cervical cancer and lymphoma.
Prior to joining South Suburban Oncology Center, she served as a Chief of Radiation Oncology at Metro West Medical Center in Framingham, MA, affiliated with BIDMC.
Dr. Kim is also board certified in Nuclear Medicine and has extensive experience in Radionuclide Therapy. She has a special interest and extensive experience in management of Prostate, Breast and Gynecologic Cancers.
Dr. Kim holds an academic appointment at Harvard Medical School. |

A Board Certified radiation oncologist, Dr. Hulick received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, his Master’s degree in biology from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse, and his undergraduate degree in biology from Franklin and Marshall College, Lancaster, PA. After completing a general internship and his residency in therapeutic radiology at the Wilmington (Delaware) Medical Center, he entered the private practice of radiation oncology in 1977. He has held academic appointments at the University of Virginia, the Medical College of Virginia, Hahnemann Medical College, and Jefferson Medical College.
He is a Fellow of the American College of Radiology, the American College of Radiation Oncology, and the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology. He has published on quality assurance in radiation oncology, and has served as Chair of the American College of Radiology Committee on Accreditation of Radiation Oncology Practices. Dr. Hulick joined SSOC in January 2005.

A Board Certified Radiation Oncologist, Dr. Sampson earned her undergraduate degree from Yale University and her medical degree from University of Massachusetts School of Medicine. During medical school, she became a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor society and was given a Scholastic Achievement Award from the American Women’s Association. She served as a member on the University of Massachusetts Board of Trustees.
After medical school, she finished her internship at Rochester General Hospital in upstate NY. Upon completion of her internship, Dr. Sampson completed her residency in Radiation Oncology at Strong Memorial Hospital at the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY. She was Chief Resident her final year, and was involved in multiple research projects on stereotactic body radiation therapy. She was awarded the RSNA Roetngen Research Award.
Prior to joining South Suburban Oncology Center, she was a staff Radiation Oncologist for Massachusetts General Hospital at Jordan Hospital in Plymouth, MA and was an instructor at Harvard Medical School.

Daniel Han, MD Clinical Director - Shields Radiation Oncology Center - MansfieldDaniel C. Han, MD is a Board Certified Radiation Oncologist. Dr. Han earned his bachelors degree from the University of Virginia and his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond Virginia. During medical school, Dr. Han was awarded several honors and awards for academic excellence including a research fellowship through the National Institutes of Health. He completed his residency at the Department of Radiation Oncology, Medical College of Virginia and had a clinical pediatric rotation at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.
Prior to joining Mansfield Radiation Oncology Center, Dr. Han was the Director of Radiation Oncology at the Morgan Hospital and Health System in Martinsville; IN. Dr. Han served as Chairman of the Cancer Committee, Chairman of the Ethics Committee and as a member of the Medical Executive Committee at Morgan Hospital. He has published several influential papers on brain, GYN, head and neck, prostate and rectal cancers. In 2009, Dr. Han was awarded with the Doc Hollywood Award by the Indiana Rural Health Association, an annual award given to the top rural physician in Indiana.
Dr. Han is on staff at Morton Hospital and Medical Center and Sturdy Memorial Hospital.
