Nurses
The Radiation Oncology Nurse serves as a navigator for the oncology patient and their family throughout their treatment and in follow up. The patient is informed who their primary nurse will be and is given their contact information at the time of initial consultation. The primary nurse works closely with the physician regarding patient care, evaluations, and interventions. Patients and families can feel assured knowing they have a qualified medical professional easily accessible to them to discuss their questions and concerns and direct them through the appropriate channels to resolve such issues.
